Punchwise works offline. There are no accounts, no servers, and your hours never leave your phone unless you share them. Effective 2026-10-01.

None. The app does not collect or sell personal information. Your shifts, jobs, rates and notes are stored only on your phone and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them. If Android backup is on, Android may include this data in your own Google account’s device backup. When you export a timesheet or save a backup file, you choose where the file goes with your phone’s share sheet.

If you allow notifications, the app shows your clock-in time while you are clocked in and, if turned on, a reminder that you are still clocked in. Your phone creates them from your hours; there is no notification server and nothing is sent. Turn them off in Settings or in Android settings.

The free version shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device’s advertising ID, approximate IP-based location and usage data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. If you buy “Remove ads”, Google Play processes the payment. We never see your card or payment details; the app only asks Google Play whether your Google account owns the purchase and remembers the answer on your phone.

The app is not directed to children under 13.
